Assemble to Order (ATO)
Production is carried out to order (Make-to-Order, MTO) based on individual customer requirements, which reduces inventory levels and increases flexibility. This strategy allows a wide variety of product variants to be offered with minimal stock. The disadvantage is that delivery times can be longer, as final assembly only begins after orders are received.
